When my kids were younger, and we went to France for a wonderful two week vacation visiting Paris and locations in the South, I took along my GoPro Hero2 to record the experience so that we had a record of what we saw and didn't see for my kids to see when they grew up and for generations yet to come. It turned into be almost like there were five of us instead of four of us, me and my wife and my two kids. The camera became a personality and I called it the future box - instantly creating legacy. I made a film from which these clips were taken and it has become very popular for my extended family to see the film each year as the years pass. I made this clip after I heard the great travel commentator Rick Steves speak about how to visit and view the world's most famous painting, the Mona Lisa. What he suggests which is obviously a good idea is the polar opposite of what we did – I should say what my two boys and I did. My wife wanted to see the painting no matter how long the lines were. Being in the Louvre for her was so exciting. As you can see when you watch this video, my boys and I didn't see it that way and it turns out, we were quite ignorant as it would've been wonderful to experience what Rick Steves described in an episode from his radio show. I produced this video to help all of you who feel as I do to get what is to be gotten from visiting a museum, and seeing the art and the sculpture and so much more.
