The cable came out of the MagSafe plug on my MacBook power supply, so I ordered a replacement cable. This is how to crack the power supply open and fit it, no need for a Dremel or a knife. To those who think Apple MagSafe connectors are useless: it's better than trying to repair a broken DC input jack on a laptop, which in many cases involve a total stripdown of the laptop just to get to the solder pads.
