Lane Griffon's father passed away in 2009. His dad knew a lot about cars, something Lane wasn't able to learn from him. That's what inspired Lane to enroll at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in the automotive mechanic program. Today, Lane is a service technician at Munday Chevrolet. Lane says he had a great experience with UTI instructors, who "kept the class alive" for students. Lane says work as an auto tech is a supportive environment, where technicians help each other out when they need it.
