In 1983, Atari dumped a huge number of E.T., Defender and other games and hardware in a landfill in Alamogordo, NM. This became an urban legend, with many people refusing to believe that it actually happened without physical evidence. The documentary "Atari: Game Over" finally unearthed the dump and proved it true. I bought one of the games the filmmakers liberated from the landfill, and I show it off in this short video.
This is the first in a series of videos I'm calling "Turbo Mode" - short but hopefully interesting videos I can do in a few days while working on my more epic, longer pieces. I hope you like it!
