The Koeyoshi chicken from Japan and the Sanjak Longcrower chicken from Serbia have one thing in common, despite their large visual differences: Their roosters' long crowing calls!
It is known today that the two breeds of domestic chickens are not closely related to each other and therefore it is assumed that the crow calls also originated independently of one another, through independent, breeding selections. The two roosters then sound, not surprisingly, very differnt from each other. The individual tones of the tone sequence are also modified in different ways. The best thing to do is just listen to it for yourself in this eerily beautiful video and write to me in the comments which rooster you personally think is better!
