Traci Meadows wants to bring greater inclusivity to the nutrition and food industries. Meadows joins “UNBOUND: Saybrook Insights” to share how her experience as a legally blind and deaf adult has shaped her career and research interests, the hurdles individuals with disabilities or impairments face in the grocery store and other locations, and the importance of positive affirmation.
Traci Meadows is a student in Saybrook University’s Ph.D. in Integrative and Functional Nutrition program. After facing adversity and being diagnosed as legally blind and deaf, Meadows reclaimed her life by earning a college degree. She was drawn to Saybrook’s IFN program due to its completely online format and focus on holistic, whole-person care.
