Microsoft already offers Arm instances in Azure. However now the Redmond giant has gone one step further and announced its own Arm-based processor, the Cobalt 100. It is a 64-bit, 128-core chip that delivers up to 40 percent performance improvement over current generations of Azure Arm chips. It is already running in Microsoft's data centers!
