$100 DIY PLATFORM BED
This easy DIY was inspired by the Urban Outfitter’s version that is upwards of $600. My version, depending on size and species of wood you choose can be completed for about $100.

Here are the supplies I used to create a king size bed.
-rails and center bracing: 5 2x6 boards (or use smaller board lengths and widths for smaller beds or different preference)
-cross bracing: 5 2x3 boards
- 4 bun feet (or 4 appropriately sized legs instead of attaching bun feet to 4x4 blocks)
-(the way I did this requires T-nuts for the bun feet, but not if you use a full leg
-corner brackets
-16 1”lag screws (size to fit the opening of your bracing. These would also need to be smaller if you choose thinner rails)
- 16 1.5” lag screws for attaching to the legs
-a box of 1.5” pocket screws
-stain of your choice
