César Magaña Linares feels like a Nebraskan at heart. But the Creighton University Law student and activist said he was constantly reminded how his family was viewed in their rural hometown. César came to the U.S. from El Salvador when he was just 2 years old and is a temporary protected status, or TPS, holder. In conversation with his mentor and former speech coach Cameron Logsdon, César shares how his work around immigration advocacy impacted his life, and how he deals with the uncertainty surrounding his immigration status.
