Due to it being a couple of blocks back from New Yorks Billionaire's Row, sites of central Park were blocked for 220 Central park south, to increase the views of the much-covered central park Extell the developed managed to purchase air rights of the Students Art League that allowed them to cantilever the existing building. This key feature to Central Park Tower is an 8.5-meter cantilever 90 meters above the ground.
