With his new book, “An Introduction to Black Studies,” Eric Jackson offers access to critical knowledge for those outside of academia.
Dr. Jackson is a professor of history and director of the Black World Studies program at Northen Kentucky University. In nearly 30 years of academia, Dr. Jackson has taught classes on American and African American history, race relations, and peace studies. He has published a wide array of books, book reviews, and articles in journals around the world. “An Introduction to Black Studies,” demonstrates the need for African American studies in university curricula and public discourse.
