As of 5pm EST our power went out as part of the East Coast storm coming up the coast on Feb 4 2022. We had rain and mostly freezing rain for most of the day.
We knew that as the trees were gaining that ice layers, we would get a power outage. And as expected we had a blackout.
For our prep, we had invested in a 5500W generator and a side by side ATV in order to haul this damn thing where we needed in order to hook up the external hook up we had installed when we built this house.
Being our first year, we expected this situation. Now it was go time and It took a while to figure out a few things, mainly how the circuit and generator box was hooked up and how much gas we needed to put into the generator to run for a few hours. 🛒AMAZON IDEA LISTS🛒
