There is quite a bit of nuance when it comes to sales tax, if you're just starting out and need guidance, I highly recommended hiring an accountant to help you out (that's what I did and it was so worth it!). But, to help you better understand some of the key things with registering, collecting and remitting sales tax (GST, HST, PST, RST, QST), I explain it all in this video.
