Zombeast is a zombie in Plants vs. Zombies 2. He could ram and bite a plant one tile away from the plant, degrading/instantly killing the plant. When he tries to ram and bite a plant who executes its PF effect, Zombeast will be stunned for 2 seconds, then he'll roar, pushing all plants ahead of it to the left 1 tile and behind it to the right 1 tile and pushing zombies to the left for zombies ahead of it and to the right for zombies behind it. It is first seen in the Lawn of Doom Epic Quest and is one of five zomboes featured in the quest, the other four being Zombified Zombie, Illusionist Zombie, Dark Fog Zombie, and Spine Summoner Zombie.
Zombeast's name is a pun between Zombie and Beast. His anatomy is based off a bull (two big horns), a saberteeth tiger (his teeth), and a giant lizard (Claws). His appearance bears a similiarity with the [1].
Zombeast could be considered a mini-Gargantuar, since he shares the same speed as a Gargantuar, but has lesser health and lesser damage (to degradable plants). However one should notice that he has a slightly longer range than Gargantuars, so melee plants (e.g. Bonk Choy, Squash, Wasabi Whip) can't really hit him either. To block him, using Ganoder-Wall is the best choice, since he has multiple degrades, 8 in total, so he could survive a lot of ram n' bites. However he has a slow recharge so Primal Wall-nut could be a good when the Ganoder-Wall is still recharging.
NEVER use a Plant Food on a plant that's attacked by a Zombeast, or else the Zombeast will roar, which knocks plants in front of it 1 tile and pushes zombies in front of it 1 tile, which causes problems.
