A lot of people have asked me about this whenever I share some of my unreleased electronic music on some servers and the moment they know I use a Tracker - they want to know more about them and how they work. In this guide, I'll show the basics of my favourite Tracker: OpenMPT. This video is intended for people who are new to Trackers and/or OpenMPT. Hopefully it'll serve as a guide to help as many people get started into using a Tracker. I've been there myself, and Trackers seemed very difficult to understand at first glance, but once you get engaged with them, they become a wonder to work with. I've definitely improved my music and skills a lot ever since I started using OpenMPT, and a lot of people ask me about it whenever I share my music to friends and music servers so I thought I'd do a general guide to explain all of the basics needed to get started. This tutorial is for OpenMPT, but the basic concepts of how a Tracker works should apply to all of them aswell.
