An organization leader, educator, politician, and business executive gather on November 29, 2021, for PaleyImpact: Media's Role in Combating Antisemitism in the Workplace, moderated by John Berman, to address fighting antisemitism in companies and to raise awareness about discrimination. Maureen J. Reidy, Paley Center President & CEO, offers opening comments. Panel topics include: recognizing antisemitism as ""an ever-morphing conspiracy theory""; why the term ""antisemitism"" should be replaced with ""hatred of Jews""; recognizing that antisemitism took place before and after the Holocaust; calling out corporations that aren't invested in stopping antisemitism; exploring why antisemitism often goes unchecked in the workplace; the media's role as a watchdog; negating Jewish myths and stereotypes; how antisemitism has flourished via social media; and why teaching and reinforcing critical thinking skills in younger individuals is essential.
