The update is not big, in fact, the most important thing you can say about iOS 11.4 Beta 1 is that it brings back the iMessages and #iCloud feature that was present in iOS 11.3 early betas but was inexplicably removed by the time the iOS 11.3 came out for the general public. There are apparently some bug fixes for AirPlay2 as well and some bug fixes and this pretty much sums up the iOS 11.4 Beta 1. Not an awful lot for a Beta, as you might be able to tell, but I assume Apple has plans to add more features in the upcoming betas. What is bizarre is that iOS 11.4 was actually briefly mentioned at the last Apple event like a week ago. Back then, iOS 11.3 was still in Beta, so this means that iOS 11.4 was in the making at least at the same time as iOS 11.3's final Beta. If you wanna install the beta, you will need to grab the Beta profile from Apple Developer Portal. Only developer accounts can access the beta builds of iOS. It is, however, not recommended because it is not such a big update.
