Blackhearts is a book written by Jim Frederick. It documents one platoon from the 502nd Infantry Regiment along with the rest of the Battalion. This book is one of the best written war accounts I have ever read. One of the central characters in the this story is their Platoon Sergeant Jeff Fenlason. There are no Saviors in this story but when you try to wrap your arms around its totality, Jeff is one of the good guys and he is going to spend some time with us telling his story......
