I wanted to see some old buildings so I took my talents (or lack thereof) to Route 66. This was the first photography road trip that I’d used my new Mamiya m645. I started with a roll of Kodak Ektar 100, as I made my way to Route 66, and as the night went on I switched to Cinestill 800t. I had seen lots of other videos about Route 66 photography, and thought this would be an awesome place for a Photography trip of my own. I shot everything on a Medium format film and 120 film. I think the images turned out pretty darn good all things considered, and the medium format quality is just insane. It’s a little bit of a hassle lugging around a large medium format camera, but honestly if you are doing analog photography in the first place I feel like you are willing to accept some compromises. Hope you enjoyed the video, and subscribe for more!
