2,000 years ago, we were given the greatest news that history has ever seen. Death had been defeated! An innocent man, Jesus of Nazareth, had been crucified, verified to be dead, and placed into a tomb, but three days later. . .He had been resurrected!
Historical accounts from first century witnesses can be traced back to just a couple of years after his death. He spoke with these witnesses, ate with them, and continued to teach them. Then, those followers were so certain of these amazing experiences, that they went on to die for what they had witnessed.
Join us on March 31st as we celebrate this good news that has changed countless lives! Everyone is welcome. . .So Come & See for yourself. . .that death has been defeated. . .by love!
Christ Community Church meets in a 150-year-old, beautiful, and historical church building, at 227 N. Capitol Ave, in Downtown Lansing. There is truly, no better place to worship God.
We blend the best modern and traditional elements together to make worship an inspiring and impactful experience.
Parking is free on Sundays on the streets surrounding the church and in the parking garage directly behind the church building. The garage says that it is permit parking only, but that is only Monday thru Friday. Put "Roosevelt Parking Ramp" into your GPS and it will show you the way.
We have handicap parking directly behind the church. If this is you, turn into the church parking lot from the side street that is off of Ionia.
The service starts at 10:00 but show up early for coffee and treats.
We hope to see you on Sunday morning as we celebrate the defeat of death!
