Voicemeter Banana is a virtual soundboard, which routes all inputs and outputs of your computer's audio through its drivers/devices. In this video I'll cover how each piece of the puzzle communicates with one another in a visual representation, then I'll show the technical steps required in setting the input and outputs in Windows sounds and VM Banana. Finally, I'll cover my favourite feature of a built-in sound gate, and the ability to set and change latency/buffering options depending on the soundcard you have. afterthoughts: If you have a good soundcard, select WDM for hardware option then Menu - Settings - Buffering WDM (128/256) whatever works without the crackling. MME seems to just be less taxing on the soundcard but has higher latency at default. But if you have a soundcard like my Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 then it can handle the better settings.
