The point is to get the sshd daemon running so it accepts ssh requests. I also cover what we will see in more advanced videos on topics such as ssh key login, configuration files, ports, users, failed attempts, logging, warning pages and tunneling. We also get some practice with Linux bash commands including: uptime, whatis, clear, apropos, ps, apt-get, /etc/init.d/ssh, and cd.
Here we take notes in Linux nano and use a few Linux commands. Also included is our stack which includes: Debian Linux, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and presentation tools for the user experience such as Matplotlib, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
