This video demonstrates a stabilisation technique for spherical video that uses Möbius transformations to fix the positions of three points in the scene, even as the camera moves around.
After recording the video, I improved how I find the markers in the scene - the code averages the positions of the 20 or so pixels whose colour is nearest to the marker colours. This makes the video jitter less. To use this technique in a production context, you would want a better way to track the positions of the objects you want to fix in the scene. Say, one that doesn't require a mostly monocolour room.
