An animated video we made using character animation in 2D. This is an example of an explainer video used for internal company communication. We think it has some interesting transitions and is fun to watch. The goal was to explain the subject in an informal, engaging way. The video took a few weeks to create and the process included scripting, design, animation, voice casting and sound design. The style is character animation in 2D and in this case a lot of time was spent executing the transitions between scenes to try give the animation a nice flow. Character design was informal and a little bit quirky. In terms of scripting, we aimed for an easy-to-follow story with fun visuals. Timing was kept under 90 seconds. Visit us on www.piehole.tv
