Did you know? You can run PHP in linux, but develop in Visual Studio Code, all on the SAME WINDOWS MACHINE? After being a long-time Mac user, I switched to Windows and decided to check out WSL. I'm more than impressed and in this video I show you how you can quickly and easily do your development in VS Code on Windows yet still be running your in-progress code on Linux. No docker, no separate machines; you can even do this on an airplane (i.e., no extra network connections). Perhaps in a future episode I'll take this a step further and show how you can connect to local resources running on your Windows machine as well.
