This one-hour Google hangout provides interested historians with an overview of the digital-history field in preparation for deeper encounters with more specific digital history skills. It was produced in anticipation of the Getting Started in Digital History workshop hosted at the 2016 annual meeting in Atlanta.

The AHA annual meeting is the largest gathering of professional historians in the United State. Reflecting the full diversity of the discipline, the meeting offers historians in all professions and fields the opportunity to build relationships, present their work, identify new historiography, gain teaching insights, and join critical discussion on issues facing all historians.
