In high school math you have studied that product of slopes of perpendicular lines is -1. But you also know that x axis and y axis are perpendicular to each other. And in this case, product of slopes of x axis and y axis is not -1. So my question is where is the flaw? Why the theorem fails for x axis and y axis?
