(Posted by Kerry's friend Ray Glasser.) Here is an "exclusive" interview with my good friends and fellow videophiles Marc Wielage and Rod Woodcock, who have written extensively for video publications for over 30 years. This was taped in Las Vegas during the Winter Consumer Electronics Show in January of 1985. This was originally shot for my friend Kerry Decker's "NightLife" Show, a home-grown cable TV show about home video; my segment was always called "The Cleveland Tech Report." In this interview, Marc and Rod discuss the first ten years of the then-booming home video industry, and try to predict where it might be headed over the next 10 years. Oddly enough, within 20 years, it would be pretty well gone!!! Video stores, movie rentals, VCRs...they're all pretty much history. (For those of you who MUST know, this was taped with a Sony HVC-2400 camera, recorded on a Sony SL-2000 portable Betamax.)
