Wuhan is a central hub for many regions, connecting upper and lower China. Its central location hasn't been recognized until recently, as Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai tended to take center stage for most of the development of Modern China. Wuhan is huge, being spread across three distinct Districts: Wuchang, Hankou, & Hanyang. Hanyang is less developed for people but is a thriving factory locale, being home to several Chinese automakers, and other factories important to this region. Hankou is the Business District and has the most banks and large sky scrapers and several parks, including Zhongshan Park, Jiefang Park (which houses a public outdoor swimming pool that only stays open 80 days a year despite half a year of hot weather!) Hankou also has the best entertainment venues, including the Walking Street (Jiefeng Lu and Jiali Guang Chiang) and Wuhan Tiandi. Wuchang is the student region, having numerous schools and young students, and hundreds of schools and dozens of universities. There is now a Subway with more than 4 lines currently with more in development, going to the major areas around Wuhan. The smog is the worst aspect of the city, with nearly 300 days a year covered in smog and cloud cover, and only about 65 days a year with clear skies. It reminds me of a little bit of Washington state, my home, actually. I live here, and I don't make enough money to travel often, so expect most of my 3D movies to be about Wuhan at least for the next year or so. Don't worry, in a city of 11 million, sprawled across a huge lake with tons of tourist attractions in all directions, it will be EASY to generate enough original content to fill up all of Youtube's servers for your enjoyment. However, if you are thinking of SUBSCRIBING to my Channel, hey, hold your horses there! That would require me to have to work hard, preparing more content for you. You wouldn't want THAT, now would you? (Wink)
