Hi friends. Sorry for not uploading a CES video sooner. I saw a ton of cool tech there but unfortunately I got pretty sick Thursday-Sunday so I didn't get a chance to film and share a video. Now I am working on some content that will be released tomorrow (embargoes, am I right?)
But I have a question for you all. Should I still make a CES recap video? It will be a few days late (i.e. probably Thursday night) or should I focus on the next products on my desk?

Apparently Samsung's Z-Fold5 is now $1499. Perhaps the lower price of the OnePlus Open pressured Samsung to lower their price. It is definitely a lot better than the nearly $2k price tag of the original fold, but at what price do you think we will start to see some more mainstream adoption? I'm already starting to see these in the wild more.

MKBHD's runner up small phone of the year was the Samsung Galaxy Z-Flip5. It is definitely smaller when folded, but I still kind of miss the true small phone. I guess the iPhone mini, S10e, and other phones just didn't sell well. I prefer the best tech in the smallest package, but perhaps I am the only one. For now though, folding phones are a pretty good way to achieve that. The Pixel Fold is pretty small, and the Z-Flip5 is tiny

How incredible is it that folding phones have only been around for 4 or 5 years and already we are seeing them for sale as low as $450?! (that's about the same price as the iPhone SE)

I have been using Samsung foldables for about 3 years and I actually recently switched to the Pixel Fold as my everyday phone back in July. These are all well into the $1500-$2000 range, so it is amazing to me that Motorola can afford to sell a foldable for one third that price. Naturally, there are compromises with this phone, but the "cool" factor is not one of them in my opinion. I think I might need to buy one to make a video. What are your thoughts?

Note - this is technically $499, but I count it as $450 because BestBuy gives you a $50 gift card for free with your purchase (weird marketing/sales tactic in my opinion but whatever)

Well well well. Looky what we have here. It appears Bose listed some new products on their website. Should I review them?

My new desk setup is coming along nicely. What should I add?

Context: I got a new office/studio space and I built a standing desk. I plan to stain it so it's not just raw plywood. I am really excited to make content in this new space
